I can see how to create a collection on the Kobo, but not how to delete one. Plus at least four of the collections are not in Calibre, those were created directly on my previous Kobo e-reader. I did have the setting to delete empty shelves ticked. I did connect my device a few times after the collections were created and the empty shelves were not deleted. And a sync afterwards will remove them from the Kobo server.Hi David, thank you. Selecting the option to delete empty collections will delete hem the next time you connect the device. But, Kobo doesn't sync information about sideloaded books, so it cannot put books back in the collection.īut, the driver can do all the collection management.
You created these in the past and then synced to the server and now they are syncing back. Strictly, Kobo never creates collections.
